Privacy Notice and Data Handling

How request detail and browser data are handled, and the arrangement disclosed behind them.

Scope of This Policy

This notice sets out the handling of information supplied through cmmcalibrationoklahomacity.com — what is collected, the purposes it serves, and who receives it — together with the commercial arrangement under which a request is dealt with. It governs this website and the requests sent from it.

Last revised October 9, 2026.

Referral Arrangement and Payment

The arrangement is stated first, so that nothing below is read out of context. cmmcalibrationoklahomacity.com is a marketing and referral website operated by Oklahoma City CMM Calibration and Repair, it is not a calibration laboratory, and no CMM Calibration and Repair work is carried out by the operator of this site.

External laboratories receive the requests submitted here. Each holds its own accreditation, works to its own quality management system, and issues its own certificates and reports in its own name. Which laboratory receives a request is settled on evidence of current accreditation and scope, on capability demonstrated for the measurement being requested, and on record of delivery.

That introduction is paid for: the operator of this website receives a referral fee, a fixed fee for the use of this website, or a commission on work that is placed. The price you are quoted is unaffected, and the payment gives the operator no role in performing, approving or certifying any measurement. The terms & conditions state it again in the same terms, so the commercial relationship behind this site is on the record and not left to inference.

The Information Received

Request detail is the first category. It is whatever a quotation cannot be prepared without: your name, company, email address and telephone number; the item, the quantity, the measurement points and the tolerances; the standard required and the turnaround needed.

Technical detail is the second, and it is the ordinary record any web server keeps — IP address, browser and device type, the referring page, and the pages viewed here.

Payment card details are not collected through this website at all.

What It Is Used For

Why information is held comes down to three things for request detail — reviewing it, obtaining a quotation from a laboratory able to perform the work, and corresponding about it — and two for the technical record: keeping the site available and secure, and watching page usage.

Selling any of it is not something this site does. Nor is renting it out, trading it away, or handing it to a third party to market from.

Who Information Is Shared With

Sharing is limited to what the work needs. The laboratory or laboratories asked to quote or perform receive the request; the providers who host this website, deliver its email or supply its analytics receive what their service requires. Those providers act on instructions, and using the information for their own purposes is not permitted.

Two further cases are stated for completeness: disclosure required by law, and access exercised by an accreditation body over the records of a laboratory performing work.

Confidentiality of Customer Information

Anything technical that arrives with a request — drawings, specifications, tolerances, measurement data, results — is held in confidence on the same basis as the confidentiality obligations that apply to accredited laboratory work. Only those who need it to prepare a quotation or complete the work are given it.

Should the law compel a disclosure, you are told that it has been made. The single exception is a case where telling you is itself prohibited.

Cookies

This site sets only the cookies required for it to function, plus — where analytics is enabled — aggregate counts of visits. Most browsers let you block them; doing so does not prevent use of this site, but a form submitted afterward may not be recorded correctly.

Retention

An inquiry record stays on file only for as long as it is needed to answer the request and to satisfy accounting and record-keeping obligations; after that point it is deleted or stripped of identifying detail. Records a performing laboratory holds are retained under that laboratory's own records policy.

Requests and Choices

Three requests can be made through the contact page: to be told what information is held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Each is answered within thirty days. Marketing email, where any is sent, carries an unsubscribe link, and an unsubscribe request is honored on receipt.

Amendment and Governing Law

This statement is revised from time to time. Whatever is published at cmmcalibrationoklahomacity.com is the version in force. The governing law is that of Oklahoma.
