How Requests Are Handled
Include the equipment make, model and serial number, the measurement range in use, and the requested turnaround. The item is booked in and an on-site date is confirmed once a quotation has been returned and accepted. Portable arms and gage sets may ship in; bridge and gantry CMMs are typically serviced on-site. Do not ship equipment before a quotation has been accepted. Photos of the machine ID plate and probe configuration speed up the quote.

General questions are answered by return. Requests that need a price go to the quotation desk and are answered in writing. The request a quote page lists what to include — send that much and the first reply is the quotation itself.
What to Include
Form submissions land with the desk that handles requests. Because the specifics arrive with the message, a written request moves faster than a call. If the query relates to work already in progress, include the reference number.
Have an item to price?
Send the item, the measurement points, the tolerances and the turnaround needed; the quotation follows in writing.
