Dimensional Gage Scope
Gauge blocks, ring and plug gauges, and granite surface plates are calibrated against ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the performing laboratory. Each gage class carries its own tolerance grade, and the measured result is checked against that specific grade.
Surface plates are checked for flatness across a grid pattern; blocks and ring and plug gauges are checked by comparison to certified masters traceable to NIST.
